Ans: The full form of ESI is Employee State Insurance.

For Indian employees, the government launched the ESI program. Employee State Insurance, or ESI, is a term used to refer to insurance administered by the Employee State Insurance coperation(ESIC). In India, the Ministry of Labour and Employment established the ESIC as a legally independent entity. 

   Workers who participate in the ESI scheme are given social security. Every month, both employers and employees pay into ESI a portion of the employee's pay. For employees covered by the ESI Act, a wide range of financial, medical, and other benefits are offered.
