Custard attacked the pirate as if it was robin attacking a worm. In self defense the pirate fired two bullets but they didn't hit Custard. Custard then gobbled every bit of the pirate. Thus Custard proved himself to be the bravest of all the pets. When Custard killed the pirate everyone in Belinda's house became very happy.
